June Goals

I officially go back to work in ten days! It is definitely bittersweet to be going back. As much as I love to stay home and play with Anders and watch him grow every day, it will be nice to have adult conversations and use my brain in ways I haven’t in a year.


I always give myself goals for each month. Most months I include, to lose five pounds, read some books and workout every day. This month, I had to think about what would be attainable and realistic. Here are the five goals that I came up with this month.

June Goals

  1. Meal prep every Friday evening.
    This goal is important for me since I am going to be going back to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday’s. I want to keep eating as healthy as I can and that starts with prepped meals in the fridge/freezer. I also want to prep good meals for Anders as nutrition is as important for him as well.
  2. Workout five times a week.
    I always feel better when working out, so I am going to keep this goal up.
  3. Hit my step goal of 11,000 steps every day.
    This goal should be attainable since I am on my feet all day at work and Anders and I go for lots of walks when spending time together.
  4. Starbucks once a week.
    This goal is going to be the most difficult since I am going back to work at Starbucks. I am going to focus on my water intake and planned meals to keep me on track.
  5. No dairy.
    Dairy makes me so sick but it is so good to not give up. I am going to give it a go for 30 days and see how I feel after having no dairy in that time frame.
